GalaxyDigital.COM Gets a Make-Over

If you are reading this post then you have probably noticed some changes at GalaxyDigital.com. Specifically, an all new look!

After launching Get Connected 2.0, which features a vastly updated user interface that is both mobile-friendly and easy on the eyes, our company website suddenly began to look very old and very much out of sync.  Needless to say, building a new site was not a hard decision!

The difficulty was fitting the re-design of the site into an already packed development schedule. If you are not already aware, here is what 2015 has been like so far at Galaxy:

  • Launch of Get Connected 2.0- A totally re-designed and mobile-enhanced version of our volunteer management software. Get Connected 2.0 was launched in February and is currently in use by nearly 100 customers—United Ways, Volunteer Centers, and Colleges & Universities. If you are a Get Connected 1.0 user and are interested in converting to 2.0, please contact us and we will be glad to add you to the list! If you are interested in finding out more about converting to 2.0 before signing up, check out this article from the Galaxy Helpdesk.
  • Launch of our new product enhancement schedule- Every 2 months, Galaxy releases a list of new enhancements that are automatically rolled-in to Get Connected at no additional cost to our customers! The 2 month enhancement cycle is our way of taking the best feedback we hear from our customers and from our own staff, and using it to consistently improve Get Connected on an ongoing basis.
  • Development of Corporate Connect- In September of this year, Galaxy will release a new volunteer management and engagement solution for corporations called, “Corporate Connect”. Corporate Connect is designed specifically for companies who either have active corporate social responsibility programs OR who are interested in increasing their employee engagement through local volunteerism. A feature called “Auto-Sync” provides a virtual connection between a Corporate Connect site and a local United Way’s Get Connected site, allowing for a constant flow of pre-qualified volunteer opportunities and events to be made available to company employees.

As you can see, it has been a busy year so far and it’s only just now September 1! Despite the crazy schedule, we knew that we had to find a way to fit the re-design and re-launch of GalaxyDigital.COM into the mix. Somehow we managed to pull it off which provides me with the opportunity to make the introduction in this brief post!

We hope you will enjoy clicking around our new site and will find it as helpful and informative as we have intended it to be.

Happy surfing!
