Planned Updates to all Galaxy Sites


Dear Galaxy Admins,

We’ve been listening and we’ve heard you loud and clear. With a little work, Galaxy’s volunteer management software (recently re-branded to Get Connected) can help you do even more. 

Specifically…

1. Save time for Admins by making your most important tasks simpler and faster.
2. Make your volunteers happier by reducing the number of clicks it takes to volunteer and log their hours.

Over the next 6 months, we’ll be releasing 10 upgraded features, each inspired by customer feedback, our own attention to detail, and our commitment to make volunteer management simpler and volunteering itself easier

These are FREE updates that will be added to our customer’s sites automatically once they’re ready to go live.

Here are the areas with in the software that we plan to update. I’ll be back in touch to share more details on each once they are ready for release: 

  • Reports for admins
  • Waivers
  • Hours form in site admin area
  • Teams
  • Site calendar
  • Volunteer scheduling
  • Check-in kiosk
  • 3 big updates to the mobile App

In the first week of November we’ll release the first few updates; a handfull of new reports, an enhanced eSign waiver, AND a quicker/easier way for Admins to add volunteers, responses, and volunteer hours.
